Welcome to our watch and learn men’s cut class, where you’ll have a front-row seat to some of the most skilled barbers in the industry. Sit back, relax and observe as Wahl’s South East Asia Team of educators demonstrate a variety of barbering techniques. Wahl educators Ean and Ocean from Taiwan with Aston from Hong Kong will share their insights on how to use each Wahl tool correctly, as well as their favourite tool to achieve each of their looks. During this advanced level seminar, they will also be demonstrating one hair design each on a live model where they will demonstrate and narrate step-by-step on how to achieve these looks.

Leveraging six years of hands-on experience and backed by his prestigious NVQ Barbering Level 2 certification from the UK, Ean passionately extends a helping hand to aspiring young barbers. He shares his wealth of knowledge and journey in the industry, offering invaluable insights and practical guidance to newcomers looking to embark on their own barbering careers.
Ocean
Wahl South East Asia Educator
Ocean, a seasoned barber with six years of experience, specializes in Asian and American hairstyles. Renowned for his expertise, he frequently hosts classes for top barber brands and academies. As the lead educator at Slick Barbershop, he mentors aspiring barbers. Ocean's accolades include winning the Asia Barber Association Barber Battle Award in Shanghai, being named the Wahl Legend of Barber Country winner, and securing 3rd place in the Wahl Legend of Barber Finals. He aspires to join the Wahl Education Team to influence and elevate the standards of barber education on a larger scale. His journey reflects a dedication to excellence, passion for his craft, and a commitment to shaping the future of the barbering industry.
Aston Ng
Wahl South East Asia Educator
Aston, initially appears reserved but is a passionate conversationalist. With five years of experience, he overcame challenges to join the Wahl Education Team. Skilled in classic and modern hairstyles, he won the country winner for the Wahl Legend of Barbers , showcasing his expertise. Aston's journey from adversity to success inspires his teaching role, where he shares his knowledge enthusiastically, blending traditional techniques with contemporary styles. His story is a testament to resilience and excellence in the world of barbering.
